About Cancun Chris

Cancun Chris is a Caribbean travel expert specializing in the Cancun, Mexico area. 

The first time I set foot in Cancun, I fell in love. The carribbean air hit different. I had seen photos, and of course videos on Youtube but nothing quite compared to the experience of being in a tropical Caribbean paradise for the first time.

I soon fell deeper in love with the Mayan culture. On my first trip to Cancun Mexico, I was enthralled by the culture, the love, the air and people of Mexico. It was a paradise of sorts. A place for me to de-stress and forget about my burdens in life. An outlet – if you will.

Going into the Mayan jungle for the first time, is where my love for the country really grew. Something about being in the heart of the Mayan jungle, you find yourself and escape from the realities of life. It felt like I was reborn, almost – into a whole new world.

Everything from the cenotes, the main town (pueblos), dialoguing with the people of Mexico, the food, the architecture and nature of the country really got me hooked.

In that moment, I knew I had to return to this beautiful place that is called Cancun, Mexico.

Later on, I decided I wanted to share my love of the country with others around the world. And what better way to do that than to create a website and travel blog helping others plan their dream vacation to Cancun?

As a foreigner myself, I knew I had a lot of tips and advice for travelers coming to Cancun for the first time, and even veteran travelers that have been here multiple times.

I feel like I learn something about the culture everything I come to Mexico, and most of all – I learn a lot about my myself.
